Social Security Article, Computer modeling of the trust fund
With all various claims flying around on Social Security, I decided to work the
numbers out for myself with a computer simulation. Here is an article I wrote
on the results.
In a nutshell: President George W. Bush is lying (but of course you aready knew
that)
The article details the computer model, compares it with the SS model, and
shows how trivial it is to fix Social Security. The code is open source (c++)
for any programmers that are interested (see below)

"The reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated" -- Mark Twain
Introduction
Recently, the Republican Party, and most notably their neo-conservative leader,
President George W. Bush, have been insisting that the Social Security trust
fund is in imminent danger of insolvency.
Many notable economic leaders have provided proof that this assertion is
patently false. One of the most vocal among them is Princeton economist Paul
Krugman.

This however does not stop the Republican Party from continuing to "pound"
their message in the mainstream media.
